American Waste Control: Tulsa Dumpsters, Recycling and More…

American Waste Control is now offering fully integrated waste solutions in Bixby, thanks to upgrades of their new recycling facility and Waste to Energy capability at their landfill. AWC is the largest fully integrated waste company in Tulsa and provides the most comprehensive collection and recycling programs in the region.

Recent initiatives have given American Waste a higher profile due to its innovative approach to waste management and investment of millions into Tulsa’s future. In addition to its $10 million upgraded Material Recovery Facility (MRF), the company has also just launched a new waste to energy project at its landfill, AEL, that is generating enough electricity to power some 4,800 homes in Green Country.

In addition to its business waste collection service, American Waste Control also collects single-stream recyclable materials from both commercial establishments and approximately 120,000 single-family residences throughout Tulsa, as part of a 10-year contract with the city. The company has also won residential contracts in Jenks and Glenpool, and is servicing former Controlled Waste and Kannady Industries customers in Bixby.
